Pedro Valdes was born in Havana, Cuba, where he lived until 1966 when he moved to the United States.

He started in radio iin March 1977 at the Latinisima with the late Woody Garcia, reporting sports. In January 1978 he worked as a salesman and as an evening and weekends DJ until 1987.

In 1988  stated to work for WQBN as a DJ on the weekends, and as a salesman for three years, at the present he is continuing as a DJ with WQBN 1300 AM.
